So the year was 1906...What's the odds???

Well guys & gals long story short, I took a couple years off from digging and can say I am glad to be back. I am now swinging a Minelab and could kick myself for not making the switch sooner. My buddy Pipster :icon_pirat: & I are back in action with the "Silver Fever"

So the year was 1906...

So far this year my best finds have been a V nickel(my first), Barber quarter(had a buddy 1940 wheat), and Indian head(dug yesterday). So what are the odds that each dug coin has been a 1906?

Just thought it was really strange...Now just need to find the rest of the 1906 to complete the set

Happy Hunting,
Scooter

Welcome back to the obsession, digging a few coins that are 110 years old always makes me smile. Congrats on those finds. :occasion14:

Even the cows like to enjoy the beach. Good job on your finds

Great coins Scooter. Odd things can happen. In October my dad passed away, & for the first few hunts I took after that, all of the coins I dug were dated 1943. Mercs, Walking Libs, Wheats, & Nickels. If you havent figured this one out yet, 1943 was the year my dad was born. I to this day & always will know that he was there with me on those hunts. I am back to digging coins with many different dates on them, but it was nice to know he was there for a few hunts with me. Welcome back to the hobby.

Scooter, In 1906 the great San Francisco earthquake occurred. Is there a connection?

Nice assortment of coin finds! Congratualtions! :occasion14:
