soils like cement still

tried a little hunting at this church, but the soil is still to hard & dry to work. So I took pics instead. was a beautiful day, so went for a drive. The goats live down the road from the church. They are usually out on the road but as soon as they hear someone coming they run back under the fence.

I know of old church that looks just like that, and has about the same date on it. I have asked about it, but there are still services held there.
The ground won't be hard forever, so keep your hopes up.

That is a good looking prospect. We are bound to get some rain one of these days.
