Coins were minted by the 100s of millions. I like finding 'em , too, but that token is actually your star find there. It's much rarer than any of the coins, has local historical significance, and even if it is only worth 10 bucks, it is worth more than the Mercury dime by five-fold.

Nice token!

The toy soldiers and token are my favorites by far! You've got a nice site there - keep plugging!

Cool finds, congratulations! :occasion14:

Nice saves!!! Tokens are always nice. :icon_thumleft:

I also like the soldiers and the token is a great save. Congrats

Very nice hunt, ML! Your soldiers were made by Manoil (An American company) circa 1935-1942, and are anti-aircraft gunners. Cheers Sub 8-)

thanks for the info Sub! The site has produced a ton of 1940 and before stuff. I love it.

Those toys are awesome! I can imagine there was a little boy somewhere having a lot of fun before those guys went missing for the night. There is certainly a story behind every find but I can imagine a little boy playing war with his soldiers and getting called in for dinner and leaving those behind in his excitement!

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice token congrats! Like the soldiers too. We made lead soldiers as kids until my brother tripped on the electric cord for the melting pot and spilled molten lead on his foot!

Really cool soldiers and even neater that you have a really good ID on them. Looks like a very productive site, congrats :icon_thumleft:
