A buddy and I decided to take our equinox’s with the 15” coil to a park that’s been hunted for many years. They did some work on a small portion of it a few months ago and we were pulling out a good amount of coins from there so we decided to see what the rest would hold. By the results, I’m extremely happy. 3 of the barbers were in the same hole and were mixed in with iron. The button is a fire department one, and the ring is an Avon sterling ring. My favorite find of the day is the 1851 half dime! It’s my first and I was thrilled to find it. My buddy also found 6 silvers there. The large cent was found at a spot we went to afterwards before rain came.

Very nice finds! How deep were you finding them? What were they ringing up? Were they real faint signals with lower readings then normal? I too now have the Equinox 15" coil and have been out with it a few times.
they were anywhere between 4-10 inches. There was iron in almost every hole I dug, so I listened more to the tones than looking at the numbers. The half dime was pretty shallow and I’m surprised it hadn’t been found yet. You really have to pay attention with that coil. The signals aren’t as crisp to me for some reason, but it still finds the goodies. The button was 11 inches down

Congrats on your first Half Dime, and the rest of your coins, button and ring.

Anymore I think MY bucket lister out here in Oregon, is to have a park like that.

Way to work it!

I wish my hunted out park was that hunted out!!
