Got $140 CWRs from a bank today.
One roll had " Save Silver Clad 1965 - 1968 " written on it. Any guesses on if this roll is solid or not? If no, guess what's in it. I'll give it a few days. Thanks for looking. Here's a picture...

The pencil looks kinda oldish. Few days? Lol just give it like 2 hours and post the results

Looks like a silver troll to me. Someone wrote it on and filled it with CuNi clad... but I am a pessimist, so...

I say solid silver 40%'s.

I'll guess Solid 40% - and some mixed good results with the other rolls too !

I still don't understand the dangling carrot threads.

Probably another CRH dump. He got the silver and put clad in it as a cruel joke.

Take it easy, it's all for fun anyway right?
Well it wasn't solid, but close.
14 - 40% and a 1966 Bahama Islands Fifty Cents piece. That would be my first foreign 50 cent piece. As for the rest of the rolls, solid clad.

The dangling carrot thread isn't nearly as fun on this end. Your Bahama coin is 80% silver if you didn't know.

Cool foreign silver. That's a small club. Nice snag!
