Some Finds from this weeks
Fields. Not much in way of coinage only a 1909 wheat. Got a CW button, Abraham Lincoln fob that was cool. Oh and this old fire truck came from a curb strip...

Lincoln Life was founded in 1905. A near identical device was given as an award to an essay contest in 1912 by the Pittsburg Press. It had a round loop on the top. Evidently the foundry offered the same basic design as a watch fob for Lincoln Life. I would be inclined to believe the fob probably dates around that same time period. very cool find.

Interesting , you get the first year cent honoring the centennial of Lincoln's birth , you get the fob depicting Lincoln, and you get a button
that dates to the defining event of the Lincoln Presidency ! H'mmm ?
