these were found out in Dils' shop in an old metal bread box. He had never made any reference to them. probably picked up by my wifes' grandparents way back in the day. I about #$@! when I opened it up and saw what was inside. Anasazi shards. Holy sheep dip!

Bravo BW,

I believe I read once before a mention of "Dils," and wondered. Now, in the shadow of these wonderful shards, I must ask about Dils.

Holy sheep dip, is right...

I have some to add that were given to me by my Dad some years ago. The note he wrote that is with them says "This is Hohokum pottery shards. Some of the pots had designs on the inside. The Hohokum Indians were noted for making the pottery with the black design on the inside of the pot, and the design never came off. It is similar to a ceramic vessel."

:hello2: Bravo I am working on a beautiful frame of those. They are actually by my kitchen sink right now:notworthy: I have a red frame and want it to be grey.

Sheperdess, that caught me by surprise initially as well. We assumed all designs would be on the outside...

can't wait to see it.

I will post it if you do not mind when it is completed. I need to paint my frame but the weather is not cooperating. I just heard a giant tree hit the ground. Rain for a week and now high winds and spitting sleet.

Nice Anasazi shards always wanted to get out that way and look around.Heres a few I have. The last pic you posted is more than likely the end of a handle to a ladle.

Widowmakers? Haha have not heard that in a while but I always watch out for them. These are some given to me by a good friend from Texas. A guy I would share a hunt with any day.
Thank you sir.
