All of this has came from the same area. The button is a New York 1866 - 1890 National Guard button. The strange thing is this was found in Mobile, Al.. That is along way from the New York. The knife blade is from Tift and Whiting in 1844 to 1862. I thought it was real neat to find all the farm equipment to. My partner has found some good items that I did not have to show. He has found a stir up, brass bell, farm equipment and a lea pearins bottle top. The other unique item I found there was the porcelain doll legs and arms. Good luck to all.

I will try to get them cleaned up this weekend. The only unique one is one of the flask has a clock face on one of the sides and says night cap. The other flask is plain, the ale bottle is green and no writing, and the the bottle standing I am not sure what it is. I have been told it was a type of canning jar. Thanks for the feedback.

Is that a trade axe?

Hey Kirk,

I don't know what a trade axe is. I know it is heavier than I thought it would be. Any info you can give me to identify it better I would appreciatte. Thanks for the feedback
