Got ot pretty early sat. morning thoght Id head downtown,dreary rainy day very few ot and about. Checked ot some repair work in a little park,a few coins and too many screwtops. Moved on to a little tougher neighborhood,n'soone out,very old homes 1860 s some of them,hnted this real old grass alleyway next to this house

fond some clad,a fortys wheat,this old fuse,the glass is real neat on it,looks like a big marble sticking out of it,saw these on my way out figred Id hit them snday

Sunday morning driving downtown again figre Id check ot this old baseball stadium our AAA team 'Indians'used to use,was gravel when I was a kid,been paved over now though,dug some clad on the grass strip under the trees,nothing older than late 60s though, very historic stadium(Bush Stadium) built right around 1900

So Im heading back to my demos and I spot these guys working on this house,right across the street from the old fairgrounds/civil war camp,that is all older houses now

they said they didnt mind if I hunted,place was very clean, really think someone had done it many times before,very little trash, was there for at least hour and half, dug one 20's wheat and a copper lords prayer charm thing,really hard digging around most of the place,very few signals,the wheat was an awful sound and it was deep ,probly be hittin that spot again though sometime. So Im driving home figure Ill drive by the largest single day sporting event in the world venue and look for a spot

fond this little spot,85 year old 500 acre grass parking area right across from the track,not sre own it exactly,had some convenient parking figure Id slide in for a few,dug some clad,tons of trash as expected didnt stay 20 mins though,jst some recon

got home and one of my twins(Max) nagged me to take him over to a soccer field that is close,we hunted till dark,Max outdid me in clad,he ran up on a really nice purse spill right by a trashcan,then plucked three coins out of one hole in gravel,I dg the only arrow? of the day,which I forgot to put in pic,I got a little bitty charm,a nice pen,and some clad,nothing important but a lot of fun,thnx for looking

Nice finds Shootist, Like I always say, if you don't succeed, try try again. You did and it paid off, looks like you found
a neat site to hunt. Keep at it, maybe next spring would be a good time to hit it again, the wetter the better.
