Some interesting field finds.

[Merf]

Greetings Fellow T Netters, Hope you are all enjoying some good hunting weather.
I have been enjoying the good weather and hunting this corn field.
The token is copper and cleaned up well in the tumbler.
The 1912 Illinois license might be for a motorbike--not sure.
The Ford part is thin copper, measures 1 3/4 inches across and is threaded inside.
The cylindericle thing nest to it is carbon. I have found a few of these but this is the largest.
Any help ID ing it is appreciated.
Best luck to all and thanks for looking. Merf

hey murf, way to go
the carbon thing could be from a battery used in old radios, i cant see enough of it to tell, i remember those things, took several of those hooked together to make the radio play, not rechargable, throw away item....still using that stick

A token collector told me once that "Good for a smile" meant "Good for a prostitutes services". I don't know if thats true or not. Kind of kreepy if it is. Anyway, super nice stuff and congratulations.

The Ford part is a hub nut cover for either a Model T or a tractor. I dug one up last year.

Great tokens and I.H.!

Enjoy your pics, Merf. That thing to the left in the last pic looks like a hat or coat hanger
