Hi silversearcher, this coin is the first meeting of this king who was the most important of my country. (Similar to Edward I for you) . :hello:

Good finds, as always :icon_thumleft:

I wonder what I could find in Malaga....if I were allowed :'(

As always, been some studies on the currency of today indicates that people are not in my country to understand.
This king was born in 1208 after Christ (medieval Europe) during his reign Unified Catalonia (my community) with the Kingdom of Aragon and the south of France, also conquered the islands of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera, the kingdoms of Valencia and Murcia (Muslims). These coins are prized by collectors as the first King Catalonia (Spain did not exist yet).

No hammered :(

I suppose I could put up with the others :D

I like it! One of my favourite dug silver coins is from Valencia.

I do look forward to seeing your posts......all you fellows in the old world. Almost like a history lesson, just reading your
descriptions of the finds you make. Not the same here in Korea. But we get a few Chinese coins dating about 1,000 a.d.
And many many from 1670s to present.....and a good variety of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
Keep posting,,,,,,and I'll keep enjoying.
