Went out for a hunt with Baldingboy last night. Had a rough first half of the evening found lots of trash. Also found a couple of good items. Keys, about 13-14 on a ring! A hotwheel, a piece of aluminum I thought was a can that turned out to have Mary on it and a big piece of lead with the number 111 and what looks like the Dutchboy on it?????

Also found 1 wheat penny, an old pocket knife, a Keen Kutter, a copper/brass cap off something, and a Civil War Eagle Button.

Had lots of fun but worked hard to get what I did find. The little piece of aluminum next to the wheat penny was 6 inches deep! Drove me nutz trying to find that thing too.

Thanks for looking.

Those beer caps you found have ghetto written all over them. I see some colt 45's a few St Ides caps and even an olde English cap or two. Was this an inner city park you were hunting at? I've messed aroung with the crooked letter I (St. Ides) a few times. :occasion14: :drunken_smilie: Definitely a little more bang for the buck in that bottle. :tongue3:

I like the eagle button.

Nice bunch of finds there. The car is cool, you think those keys will start er' up??? LOL jgas

Great button, anything on the back? What the heck is the one you have marked handle? Is it a wooden handle?

You did work hard and had a great time I bet!

Nick

I don't know what I'm looking for?

Nick

I am estimating it at 23mm. It is made out of copper I believe.

So what have I got???

Evolution

the place we were hunting was a former Crack house. We didn't know until two hours after we had been hunting it.

NICE Eagle Button MaesterEagle!! Also, what is that pictured in the 4th picture? It look ALOT like a nipple

protector.....One that was pulled first as a bullet, and than carved and used as a nipple protector...BUT it may

just be the juxtaposition of the photo... Very nice finds and SOO MANY as well. Great Job

Don't know what it is, appears to be maybe made out of clay? Another picture of it is 4 up from the bottom one labeled Pipe. :icon_scratch:

Now thats what I like to see!!!!
Diggin' everything and more......
Crack house and all, that place has seen a lot of traffic.

Keep safe guys...

Keith
