Hi all, I found this at a nearby park near a horseshoe pit. It looks familiar but I don't know what it is..it has 2 holes on opposite sides -I'm thinking a link to a bigger piece of jewelry. It's kinda heavy and chromey. Any ideas?

Part of a 40's to 50's bracelet. Normally held together by elastic strings. There may be other links
where you found that. Probably broke and was lost.

Thanks for the input, I searched in vain to find more, there just wasn't any. One of the green stones came off when I dug it up but I lucked out and found it..I brought it home and glued it back in.

the green stone looks very much like peridot. Is the other stone orangey?............could be amber. If more brown, could be smokey quartz.

Thanks for the reply Rave..there's only 2 stones and they're both green..the other 2 areas are just chrome (it shows better in the 2nd photo).

sorry! yes, it's nearly 3am here & I'm starting to get tired. ;D............if the stones are not synthetic I would say they were almost certainly peridot..............widely used here in old ecclesiastical jewellery for warding off evil & negative forces.
