Thought it was lead at first it’s fairly heavy but it’s not soft enough to be lead. Put it between a pair pliers and it barely left a mark
so it could be zinc which has a reasonably low melting point,
If zinc blobs are anything like zincolns though, they may have a hard time staying underground for long without corroding. Better guess than me though, it doesn't seem like lead or aluminum either.
