Hi terry as I have mentioned I will be travelling around a lot next year so will do lots of searching then but as for now work and doing house up for sale comes first so only travelling short distances for now and cash is tight but yes I have been reading up on strewfields and falls and closest is 75 miles after that it goes into hundreds of miles not that there's many strewnfields on this tiny island, I have been to the place where I and a friend saw a fireball pass overhead which 3-4 seconds later burst over the sea back in 2011 that's where the tiny piece in the four pics on red background come from, when the fireball passed over there was bits spitting off it and we heard chinking noises several seconds later hitting on stones where our car was parked but neither of us knew anything about meteorites then untill I read up about them last year and searched the place several times but lots of thick grass around and no metal detector so only visual and strong magnets to work with and lots of reading and still don't really understand the makeup of meteorites but learning, and I want to find a meteorite not buy one, I've handled a few so I know to expect a lot of differences so expect to see me posting some more crap in the future, as for hvacker I started reading up and looking for meteorites from last year and have picked up many a strange rock since then and as mentioned I knew some was slag but they still looked cool , I post the pics for beginners like myself to look at so they see possibly what they have is meteorwrongs, but if you think they're foolers as you call them then fool you, sarcasm tut tut
