very nice finds! I like your picture background too. seems to add character to the finds.

Just wondering what the item in the last picture is? I have found two of them in the camp site I hunt, but have never been able to identify them. :dontknow:

I believe that last pic is a umbrella top where the spokes hooked up to the shaft.

i always wondered what those things where ive found 100's

Very nice relics! You also take very cool pics! Driftwood?

Nice Eagle buttons. That is a very odd knife. Can't say i've ever seen on like that during the Civil War period although if it is, its probably fairly rare.

Im not sure about the pocket knife, it may not be CW era but I did find it smack dab in the middle of a camp. It may have been lost there by a hunter or logger. I like this piece of driftwood I found along the river last year when I was fishing for FatCats. Photography is another hobby of mine.

Nice finds and I wish I could take outdoor, closeup, photographs that well !

WTG bro sweet finds and fun times out doors that knife handle looks to be "mother of pearl". Good luck out there on the next adventure HH. - Ronnie
