Hey Dennis, great stuff! Those sequoia leaves look a little familiar.......lol. What kind of dinosaur do you suppose that vertebra came from?

I do not know for sure, for some reason it was not articulated with any other vetebra.

Added a few more, any questions are welcome. Thanks for viewing.

Hmmm...Looks like I will have to plan a trip to Montana lol..Very nice finds :icon_thumright:

Your welcome to come and visit. Trouble is, you may literally have a ''hey-day'' and not want to leave. Why do you think Montana is called the treasure State. Gold, Silver, Cooper, Lead, Saphires, Moss Agates, and Fossils to name a few are found here.

P.S. Plus a few Arrowheads.

The agates and fossils draw me in lol...Would have to build a bigger display if I never left lol.

Hey old digger, Very nice specimens! and nice sharp, clear pics. I've a collection from 20 some years ago from Northern Alberta. Which side of The Rockies are yours from.. if you don't mind me asking?

I'm on the eastern side. Thanks for the compliment!

Mine too, just a little farther north, up the same side. Along The Peace, Kakwa and Wapiti River systems and tributaries.
Spent half my life out west. If I wasn't workin...I was in the bush, on or at the rivers and lakes! Even Big Game Hunting I'd come back to camp or my truck with "something" in my pockets or backpack! Ha!..everything in stone, Dino's, plant life, bracs, gastros, cephalopods, nautiloids, or bone..20,000 yr old Elk or Buffalo...and even (told by an area Geologist)..I may have Camel bones!...Who also relayed to me..."there is even proof (fossils I assume) of turtles and alligators" in the water systems in Northern Alberta!
Anyway...Happy Hunting!

Sounds like me, I spend as much time out looking for fossils and artifacts as I have the opportunity. I have yet to find my most desired find, and that would be to find an ''Bison antiquitus'' skull.
I also have a slight problem when I am out hunting, and that is that I spend too much time looking at the ground, and when I happen to look up that monster buck is just going over the next ridge, lol!
Same to you, Good Luck in the great outdoors!
