Some new and old digs........

Hunted some old stuff and new stuff and here is what I got. 9 wheats, a Burger King token ( 60's - 70's I believe ) a 1953 coin from Portugal, a kids ring, butterfly pendant, a big hoop ear ring, and a very old button from the 1830's.

thems good digs Mike! Nice old button, and wheat haul. Can you tell for sure the difference between wheats and indians or wheats and silver dimes before you dig? I never look at the numbers, only listen and sometimes look at the bullseye. Also, can you tell the difference before you dig between a pull tab and a nickel? Might be an ignorant question but I never took time to learn the basics, I just go by listening to the signal and dig a lot of iffy ones, but I wonder if I should take time to look at the numbers. Anyway, good hunting Mike, glad you got out. I'm shooting for diggin on Monday, hoping for good weather. Happy father's day brother!

Hey Griff,

Yes I can tell the difference between a IH, Wheat, pre zinc, and zinc pennies.
I can also tell the diff between pulltabs and nickels.
The Explorer is an amazing machine and I know mine pretty well! :thumbsup:
