Found 6 Romans depths were 3 to 8 inches. Was on a ploughed field so that helps keep them nearer to surface.Wow, that was hundreds of years before anything I could possibly find. Congratulations! Curious how deep something like those were?
Somewhat true taken as a whole, but if I had to guess which would come up nice it would include those 3 & the globe on alter type. So they are a common type to come up nice, & we think it was the quality of the bronze used for those coins.
Those Germans in Trier, seem to be quality minters as that's where all 3 were minted.
