Just getting started good in this EXTREMELY addictive hobby. These are a few of my finds here in Germany, hopefully alot more will follow.

1. iron grape shot
2. musketballs
3. .50 cal round (dumped out the powder)
4. untrimmed musketball
5. lead tags for food goods
6. regiment button with '2'. early 1800's, French or Prussian
7. Brass drawer pull
8. brass weight for balance scale
9. copper thimble
10. tag from a bird's leg. U.K.

12. R/R spike
13. small brass buckle frame
14. copper catholic pendant, WWII
15. aluminum cross with depiction of Jesus,1900-ish
16. 1 Kreuzer, 1861, copper

19. 1 Heller, 1766 !!!!!!!!!

Good stuff! You need a close up of the the Heller! That is an amazing coin!!! Try scanning the coin and then resizing it. Good stuff! I was with him when he found the 1766 heller,I am still jealous!! Good going Matt and Happy hunting.

WoW thats a great start. I wished I was into MDing while I was in Germany. Would have been a great opportunity for some very old historic finds.

I got lucky and met birdman before he has to leave here. He's showing me the ropes around here.
 

Great finds! You and Birdman should detect the base of Frauenburg castle, the low areas closer to the river, a small town was flooded out and destroyed there at the foot of the castle, it flowed down hill. There is an obvious hill top there that over looks the whole valley and river, had to be a guard tower there in the early days and it is easy to get to. Ask Bman about it, he knows where I am talking about, maybe 30 mins from Ktown. I would love to detect it myself but it might be a long time before I get back there as I live and work closer to the East near the Czech border. HH, Mike

Excellent find's mprednek!!....Still kickin' myself for not MD when I was stationed over there.Too busy chasin' the frauline's I guess.Like the avatar too,what did that go...9...10...pretty sweet.Congrat's and HH!!
