Alright where to begin. Most of this stuff has already paid for itself because I didn't mention the vintage perfumes and colognes that I've already sold on eBay.
The "big money" items purchased at an estate sale were the pair of Durkin candlesticks that I paid $15 for. Only because they are not dented and they are the taller ones. The same sale, a pair of 10k earrings that got noticed, I paid $20 for those. They weigh 2.42 grams. Some other assorted medals and pinbacks, including the 39-40 NY Worlds Fair, the WW2 era US Coast Guard Honorable Discharge pin and the PNG Stewart medal Type 1/ Bronze. I also bought a few pieces of Fenton and other vintage nic-nacs. Spent a total of $45 at that sale.
Most of the sterling jewelry and the few pieces of actual scrap gold came from a garage/estate sale this past weekend. I should have just offered $20 for the whole box instead of nit picking the good stuff out, had I known. Truth be told, I was prepared to pay a fair price but I had no idea the guy was going to start counting it up at .25 each, who was I to argue. I had $6 in jewelry picked out, lol. Some costume as well. Not everything is pictured. Way too many photos. The green booger thing is costume, 1960's Kenneth Lane Faux Jade pendant. I don't know exactly what it is, some sort of pod or melon or seed, you tell me. At the same sale I also bought a watercolor of the octogonal Pennsylvania stone school house. Amateur folk art done says it was done for the Ft. Lauderdale Womans Club. A couple of cool old sprinklers, some paperweights and a brass blade fan. Spent $42 gave him $45.
Most of the other stuff came from assorted garage sales.
ps- The petit point ring has a couple discolored stones that don't appear as bad in the photos. Here is that Kenneth Lane thing, sorry it's the back. Only close up I have right now. I'll get another later if nec...
