Lead gadget is anchor for duck decoy . For storage you coil anchor line around decoy neck and coil lead weight to neck to hold whole shebang till next trip . Keeps from getting tangled with others . have a good un Jeff !!!

Those are some very old looking sinkers and thats a very reasonable looking draped bust coin for being buried so long. Do you plan on soaking it?. You would be suprised at what an 1797 goes for, I've been bidding on them for months and have'nt got one yet, it's a hot item even in only a.g. condition. Go and get some more they are nice to look at.

Great coin and cool finds!! That shell is a rimfire. Don't know the caliber, but the U is like you find on 22 shells. A rimfire that large, I would think it's pretty old. WTG!!! HH

At This Point , I put it in a Holder.

The ONLY soakining I'v done Is In Dish Soap Water.

if it were 10 years Newer I'd Try & Clean it, However, I realy Don't Like To Mess with 18th Century U.S. Coins.

Their Value Keeps Riseing.

Neat stuff Jeff! Looks like a good spot. This must be the spot you were talking about when you thought the Shark Pit was the same kind of place you were searching.

No.
Different One ROB,

I just Wish This one wasnt a Hundred Mile Round Trip With todays Gas Prices.

Don't know IF or When I'll Ever Get Back

You'll probably have to stay until you find enough "stuff" to buy gas to come back! JIM
