I find that people who excessivly overpack their rounds in order to gte a "wow kick" from them are the ones who should not be allowed access to weapons, as they usually give it to some poor sod to get a laugh when they throw the weapon form the kick.
Also pistol grip shotguns are designed to shoot from the hips.
