What about Chinese vehicles if the crap hits the fan from conflicts.
It's been shown my end here that they can hit the "Kill Switch" because they are under direct contact with China.
If anyone owns an EV or any Chinese made car and anything happens in a conflict they can turn your expensive you beut (beautiful) car into a brick with the touch of a button (kill switch). Imagine how many Great Wall, BYD and other Chinese made cars and anything even phones they can Kill with a swipe!?
There was a warning here about this with Chinese EVs very recently about this issue.
Govt workers were warned about using the connect with phones in them to not talk about anything whilst driving them.
I'd never buy one from there ever regardless of how much cheaper they are.
Common sense says avoid like the plague.

They'll End up Shipping these SUV's to The Philippines, Mexico, Indonesia & Other Countries Where they Don't have 'nannies' who try & Run the Peoples Lives, and sell them for a few Hundred Dollars a Piece

I have a Chinese DJI drone and the gov is thinking about banning their sale in the US. They won’t come for my drone but I’m worried China/DJI will hit the kill button, if there is one, and brick it. I’ll just have to wait and see.

I listened to a podcast where a guy had one of those robot vacuums. He discovered it had sent the mapping of his house to the company. He shut the tracking off, the company hit the kill switch.
He had it fixed, they killed it again, he redesigned the electronics. No more kills.
