Some recent finds

Picked up a few the past couple days. A few pre-forms and a few scrapers along with a broken piece of a bannerstone. A old marble and a couple of crystals. Good hunting and thanks for the look.

Great finds SC! About the quartz crystals...I often find them "out of place" in areas I hunt (including some purple amethysts). I was told in another forum that NAs sometimes used them to knap points if they were large enough, or just treasured them for their beauty. What do you think? Also I have found about a dozen of the round game stones(?) like you picture. They are stone not clay, but I've been told that they might be historic rather than NA. What do you think? You're having a great year!

Thanks folks- ptsofnc I don't find a lot of crystals. I didn't find any artifacts where I found those two crystals. I've been with a friend digging on a camp site and he found a couple big crystals that were brought there for some reason. I've only found a few of the marble things and all have been around old home sites. I don't think they are Native American but I'm not all the way up to speed with them either. Tks
