Back to the Indian Burial Ground for a short hunt this afternoon and a couple wheats and three "toasty" indians emerged along with this beautiful clip-on brooch.
Thanks Crusader! I thought that as well but then there was the spring-loaded clip found along with that piece shows evidence that the two were attached at some point.
On a different note, I am looking to take my Equinox along on our two-week visit to England next year.
Thanks Randy! Cleared some brush in hope of exposing some more goodies but nothing presented itself but iron nails, so I moved on a little further south and east of where I had been hunting and found that the IHCs were still there to be had.
Thanks Gene! That 1884 looks like an early drop but the ground conditions have been hard on it. Happy with the results and encouraged that there's still more there.
Thanks dirtlooter! I've seen a big difference between farm field Indians and those from a park. These guys are somewhere in between. Glad to have them though and I would say that digging them is best part of the hunt.
Thanks Whyme. I'm looking forward to getting back out later this week. May try another park but seems coming back to this one could definitely yield more Indians.
