Looks like you're on some good ground. That cut copper is different and the shoe buckles are ways a great score. How's the ticks out your way? I've had a few and really haven't been deep in the woods yet.

Great finds HeavyMetalNut! Thanks for sharing...

Dave your year is off to another great start, not bad when you can get 3 different state coppers in a short period, yet alone in a year. The 1786 Maris 14-J could have been a bit nicer but it was nice enough to ID the variety! Seems like shoe buckles galore in your neck of the woods.

Looking good man - that is an odd piece for sure. LOVE the buckles - we hardly ever find them entirely intact here.

Dan

That cellar hole hunting looks like a lot of fun Dave. That's something I hope to try someday. And congrats on finding a nice little honey hole of a site. Love those coppers and intact buckles. Keep 'em comin'!

Good Stuff HMN.
Another complete shoe buckle.
That one coppper sure had a hard life.
Man your into the ticks, and I'm not done with the snow. They must be hungry, hungry buggers. I think I like snakes better, and I don't like snakes one bit.

thanks fella's!

Nice variety Dave!

Keep up the good work. Always interested to see what you guys pull out of the ground. The sites you guys hunt always produce some great finds and that's a testament to your research and dedication to the hobby. I'm looking forward to a great year. Hope you guys have a great year also.

Another great site, love the buckles.

Dave Congrats on real nice start to the year. At least you were able to ID the cut copper

You're really killin it with the buckle finds so far this year Dave! :occasion14:
I'm amazed that iron shoe buckle survived in the condition that it did! :o
