Some steps in the woods !

Did a little hike today with my new snow shoes on a local forest preserve . It was a pretty hike ! A mile down to the Falls ! I found a set of stairs in the middle of no where ! The rectangular shape caught my eye in the woods ! Thanks for looking ! MaineRelic

How did the snowshoes work? I've always thought that looked fun, but have never tried it.

Cool day out. Every year I say I'm gonna buy some snow shoes, but I still get out and flounder around in snow sometimes waist deep. Builds character, or somethin.

How did the snowshoes work? I've always thought that looked fun, but have never tried it.

They worked better than I thought they would ! We only have 6 inches of snow ! So I was not going to use them. They were a present from my daughter so she wanted me to try them out so I did . They have crampon type grips on the bottom so I could hike through the woods up and down the hills without slipping ! They are really lightweight as well ! I can't give you a review in deep snow yet ! MaineRelic

That is so cool I love how your eye's pick up shapes like arrow heads that are triangular, coins or buttons that are round,and rectangular shapes against a natural background. To find a set of steps or a foundation in the woods for the first time really gets my adrenaline pumped Thanks for sharing Paul

I like the pictures of the rapids. I don't know what it is but I like just walking in the woods just to look. you never know what you'll see or find
