I went detecting on a property today at a friend's house and their property dates back to the 1600s!

I came across this coin and was wondering if anyone could ID it. Initially I thought it was a reale... :dontknow::BangHead:

There seems to be a "776" or atleast a "76"
Also, I thought this was a bayonet of some type when I pulled it but I'm thinking it is more of a farm tool. Says "Miller Quality" on the shaft. It three bladed.

Thanks for looking! Cheers!

I'm not 100% sure but it looks like you have some good stuff there, I think I'd be digging everything at that site!
Nice find

Your "tool" is the top of a lightning rod. Cool finds!

So I have amazing news, after a very light cleaning and a magnifying lense attached to my phone, the coin in question is definitely a silver 1764 spanish coin!

The "rust" was just dirt stuck in grooves of the coin. Schweeeet! My newest oldest coin!
