I've been hunting this lumber mill ghost town for a few years. The mill was in buisness from the 1850's thru the 1920's. It was one of the largest mills in Washington and there's nothing left now but woods. I've dug two gold coins and over 50 pieces of silver out of there thru the years. No silver this weekend but the 1857 Upper Bank Of Canada Token which is normaly just copper has been silver plated for some reason.

SWEET FINDS I NEED TO TRY A MD HERE SOME TIME.

"He found some nice things!" So said my daughter, and I'm inclined to agree!

Sounds like a great spot... Can't wait to see what else you dig...

Excellent! I have yet to get my MD but am anxious to join the ranks! I have plans to md the old ghost towns of Montana. Mainly the ones in Western MT where the gold rush was and the old mining towns. I have visions of hitting the bank or saloon and finding a huge cache!

Super cool stuff. What other coins have you found there in the past?

Great old finds there, wtg

Great research on that spot there. Good luck in the future.

Super finds. That's a long time for the place to be operational. I love those type of sites where you can find a good variety of coin types.

2 Gold Coins?! Awesome.

I like that 1857 coin. Very cool.

How hard is it to search a place like that? Congrats on your finds. HH

Thanks guys! This place is tough to hunt because it's so thick with underbrush. It's almost impossible to hunt during the summer months so this was my last hunt there untill winter when the underbrush thins out again. Here are some more finds from my previous hunts at this site this year.
