Beautiful weather this weekend up on my Adirondack Mountain property in upstate New York to do a little metal detecting. In a dried up stream bed down below I found what I believe to be a 100+ year old toy cast iron horse drawn trolley, or possibly a railroad car, lodged under a large rock. Down a ways further where the stream runs under an old Delaware/Hudson railroad line I found several pieces of iron railroad artifacts. High up on the mountain I managed to find an old buckle (also under a large rock), a file, and an old iron rope/chain guide all probably left from loggers years ago.
