Hello Tnet,
I found these pieces in are wtih a lot of ww1/ww2 related history.

The first piece is a part of the brass ring around a shell. I've found a lot of these fragments but they where al much and much smaller.. This piece is huge so anybody a idea on what shell they belong??

The second piece is a bullet like any body an idea what .cal and from wich gun they are ?

The third piece is a small brass(I think) round object, i'm hoping it is from a fuse for a grenade or something like that but got no idea.. Its deformed from somehting with a lot of power and it had a hole in the middle with old thread or somehting in it? I'm noth sure if the hread belongs there or some old leaves from the forrest that got in there.

Help is much appreciated !!
And sorry for my bad english, english is not my mother tongue..

The first and last pics appear to be the remains of an artillery shell fuse. It looks similar to American Civil War relic fuses. So I would guess it is older than WWI or from a WWI army using out dated weapons. Do some additional research to see if earlier battles were fought in the area.

You don't tell us where the field is so we can only guess. More information from you gives a better chance to identify the relics properly.

Possibly Schleswig wars?

Sorry for the missing info !

I found out that in that area a war in 1794 took place. But it wasn't a big war. It took place on the 'grebbelinie' here in the Netherlands. French vs some small dutch groups.
I really hope its from that war era but I think the chances are small because I've hunted around 15/20 hours in that area and this is the first possible piece..

Any idea what it could be other than a old fuse?

I'm fairly confident it is a timed artillery fuse adaptor. But I don't know exactly what time period. Re-post it with a title like "18th century artillery fuse?" That may get the attention of others on the forum who know about these relics. Be sure to include where it was found and exact measurements of the piece.
