I've been hunting along these last few days. Mostly just clad, but I expect that from school yards. I did find a couple of "wheat fields" though. LOL So, the finds were keeping me interested and happy.
So, why oh WHY, did I decide to go try a cornfield today!?! Don't I hurt enough already!?
Anyway, after 3 hours out there stumbling, bumbling along, here's the take:

This place is still one of the most diversified in ammo!

The tops seem strange.

I thought this little white doohickey was lead. But it's not, it's magnetic. The two holes go all the
way through.

Back plate off something I suppose. Was really deep down, non-magnetic, but there's nothing on it.

A 1913 whole wheat toast.

I thought this was just a piece of crap sitting on top.
Once I located it and knocked a bit of mud I saw it was probably an old button.
I could see where the stem used to be. It wasn't until I got it home and picked off some
more mud on the other side that I saw it actually had a design. I have no clue if
it means anything, I don't know my buttons.

Made the time interesting anyway. LOL
Thanks for the visit!
Now I need to sleep! LOL
HH!
