The plan today was to run a few errands, fuel the car and then go to
clad city for some fun walking around and picking up more battery fund.

So, whilst running the last errand, "I was on my way back to the car". I passed by the coinstar just to check
as per usual. This is what I found in the tray:

2015 (231).webp

:dontknow: LOL

2015 (232).webp2015 (233).webp

To boot! This was in among them.

I couldn't believe it! LOL
When I got back to the car, I said, a pocket full of clad, a Canadian penny, AND a SILVER!!!
I have no need to go to clad city. Already got more than I bargained for there! So, what to do?

I decided that since I already had the battery fund contribution and even a silver! I'm already
good for the day. Still, I wanted to do a lil digging. I went to the mansion for a leisurely walk and
to complete an already wonderful day.

One thing about this mansion. It now forces one to think hard where to try. So, I'm wandering around this particularly
trashy spot near where the old road used to be. I only get a few hits worth digging, between all the iron.

One is deep, short and read at about 78. If I milked the signal I could catch an 80 once in a while. I said, close enough for
govt work and got down to digging. Eight inches later I see this:

2015 (239).webp
2015 (240).webp

I said, huh??! But it was only 78! :icon_scratch:

This is what uncovered:

2015 (236).webp
2015 (237).webp
2015 (235).webp
2015 (238).webp

Now, I ask ya. Ain't that beautiful?!?!

Now, let's review:

Coinstar:

2015 (231).webp
2015 (232).webp

Mansion:

2015 (234).webp
2015 (237).webp

Guess which one I choose? ;)

Crazy hobby, crazy day!

Thanks for peeking!

Awesome Seated. That alone would make my week. Congrats!

Nice digs. And coin star finds.

Don't get any better then that a Very nice old silver!! :notworthy:

That was a good day! Beautiful dime!

great find!! When I get up to Deep Creek Lake this summer, chances are good that I will find nothing that pretty.

Congratulations WHADIFIND! That mansion has been really good to you, THAT is a very sweet dime. I don't mind digging junk out of promising spots like that because it's true that when the trash is cleared, the goodies appear!

A good day turns into a great day! That is an awesome seated dime! Congrats! :hello2:

Looks like those two have divided up the clad pile! I'm guessing that's fine by you! :laughing7:

The more relaxed you are the better you can interpret what the detector is telling you hides amongst those iron and trash signals. :icon_thumright:

Quite a sweet looking coin! Only 3 more years and you'd be in bust silver territory.

Yeah not much can top a regal old silver in really good condition coming out. Especially one as pretty as
the Seated Liberty series. I mean, you can even see the sandal on her foot! LOL

Thanks!

It may not be a "banner" find because it's so "unrare". Unless, you take into account what this coin has been through for 179 years! AND...come out looking this fine! :)
One of my best coins ever and that is a LONG time! :)

Thanks!

Yeah, I know. There's a special mood I gotta be in to be able to concentrate that hard for any reasonable period of time. The rest of the time, I pretty much just have to settle for
the easy signals. I mean, after all, it was only a penny signal and over 8 inches deep! It's a miracle I even heard it with all the chatter around! LOL

Thanks!

Oh, if a silver this old or even newer comes out looking like this, I don't care WHAT series! LOL

Thanks!

Why thank you, kind lady! It is kinda awesome, ain't it. ;)

Very nice seated buddy

Awesome .....
Cool Coin Star Score.

The last thing I expected was a Seated Dime and In Great Condition.

I dug one of her 1839 Sisters back in 2012.
Those old silvers will give you a natural high when you see them coming out of the hole.
A BIG CONGRATZ!!!!!
