Son of a...SKUNK

I went and picked up 4 boxes of dimes today and 4 boxes of halves. I skunked out on every single box, which bring my skunk streak for dimes up to 14 boxes...not even a single silver. And a 6 box skunk streak for halves. This is gonna be a rough week. I hope you are all having better luck than me!

That is some brutal skunkage Try ordering from a different bank? I don't know why it is but even if the coin carrier is the same I still have distinctly different luck based on the location of the bank I order.

In any case keep at it, as long as you keep up that volume, you will score. Last week I did 8 Boxes of halves and got only 2 40%, granted this is not a skunk, it was very discouraging. Between picking up the boxes, lugging them into my apartment and sorting through them I killed my entire afternoon and had a room full of giant bags of clad that I was going to have to dump.

You just gotta take your mind off it and get the next batch.

I feel bad for you! I skunked over 50 rolls of dimes now. but its nothing compared to yours.

I appreciate all the responses folks! I have different banks that will order me 1k in halves once a week (6) so I usually do 2 boxes of halves every day but sunday. I started marking a few coins, just to see if they get turned around back to me. Either way, thanks for the encouragement! Hopefully I get some silver tomorrow!

I think I'm going to try crw for dimes instead of brinks...something fishy is going on. And wheneever I order halves, I get TONS of marked halves with a black dot on the E in liberty. I might have to get cwr for those too...ugh.

14 boxes of skunk dimes, that is insane! How many of them were new uncirculated boxes? Im feeling for you, when I get one skunk box of dimes Im upset. I went 20 boxes of skunk halves and then I switched to dimes!

I hope not! I picked up another box of halves and 4 more boxes of dimes today. I usually get about 10-11 boxes of halves a week and 20ish boxes of dimes.
