2 weeks ago i returned a class ring to the owner, during our conversation he told me about a pottery place near where a school is now. pottery place was there a long time ago, way before the school. today i needed to take a prescription to walgreens and was told it would be at least an hour so i figured i would detect this area for an hour. found some clad, usual junk and low and behold a 1882-s morgan dollar about 3-4 inches down. i couldn't believe it, how did this get here? from back in the day? kid raiding dad's coin collection for show and tell? dirt from somewhere else? i don't care how it got lost but am glad it was found. a first for me. hh all.

Wow! glad you didn't join us (though we did miss you). Of course for that one, we'd enjoy pics if possible.
