South Carolina Hunt - Day 2

A good second day in SC today. Found an 1890 Indian Head, a couple old buttons and a weird buckle looking item (front and back shown). Any ideas? It's small, about an inch square, but with angled corners. Best find was a small ring, silver looking, but no markings inside. Was hoping Carolina Tom could join, but will have to be next time.

Nice relics! I am looking forward to hearing if anyone knows about brass piece. I have one just like it. I threw it in my leather embellishment box. Good job!

It went on a leather piece on a horse & is most likely the brass that went on the blinker.
