Found on surface in a field

It looks like fence pliers but is welded by the rust so it has some age. What are your thoughts?

I agree, old linesman's pliers. Cool find.

Definitely fence pliers. Hammer on one side and a set of teeth to turn the short pieces of wire to hold strand to post. Also some cutters.. But still cool find
