Yesterday I went south to Fort Lauderdale. The water was pretty rough but I managed to find one ring, a few gold earrings and my first grill. I'm pretty sure it's silver.

Nice finds! :icon_thumright: I want to find a grill too before I have to spill one myself! :laughing7:

does your grill have a pasty stuff inside of it?

I like the grill!

cool find - stupid of wearer - someone must have con him into buying them - your mouth acids would make them tarnish all the time

Wow - nice treasure haul! That grill wasn't on my bucket list, but I'm jotting it down now... :laughing7:

Got my first grill on a trip down to Ft. Lauderdale last year...congrats on some good finds.

NIce save on the grill and the sharp looking ring! NO grills for me this year..:dontknow:..one thing I don't mind having melted...:laughing7:

your grill is Black ,that means it is from a dead person that has been Cremated. I find teeth like that all the time . Sorry but not a Grill

Is it Gold, Plat. or Silver ?

Id be very surprised if it is a cremation grill. Most metals break down at that heat range (1400 to 1800 degrees) or are removed like pace makes that can explode. They are very careful about that because metals can damage the equipment used for pulverization. This ensure there are no surprises in the urn also.

The one commonly found "surprise" is the cremation tag. These turn up regularly on Florida beaches after the Urn's contents are poured into the Ocean or Gulf. They're bad luck though, and best to return them to the ocean once found.

I just hope whoever lost that grill that their body/bones are not out there. :skullflag:
