Yesterday I went south to Fort Lauderdale. The water was pretty rough but I managed to find one ring, a few gold earrings and my first grill. I'm pretty sure it's silver.

Id be very surprised if it is a cremation grill. Most metals break down at that heat range (1400 to 1800 degrees) or are removed like pace makes that can explode. They are very careful about that because metals can damage the equipment used for pulverization. This ensure there are no surprises in the urn also.
gold melts at 1947.9741 degree F
