I'm far from being an expert on bullets, but yours looks to date to the 1870s - 80s. :thumbsup:
It's definitely a three-ringer though.

Not a Civil War three ringer... As Dave said, closer to the turn of the 20th C.

Not knowing the dimensions, I’d say large caliber military round such as 45-70 Govt or something similar, but not civil war related
