Sovereign GT for $599 Good Deal?

Dealer has a brand new in box GT for 6 bills. I know next to nothing about this machine except for what little bit I've seen on youtube and a few reviews.
Seems like a solid performing unit. How's the price? Seems good to me as they are $1k+ retail.

If it is a new Sov GT and from a dealer you can trust then that is not a good price, it is a GREAT price....

Aarrgg! So the dealer got back from vacation and I called to firm up some info. He apologizes and says he gave me pricing for an Elite not the GT. Tells me the price for a new GT would be $950.
Anyhow...I ended up purchasing a used E-Trac for 950 instead. I hope I didn't make the wrong choice!
