I have a sovereign gt which I use on the beach with pretty good results I found twenty three gold rings plus sixty eight silver rings plus other goodies.i just bought a minelab sarfari I thought it would be a little better at finding gold jewelery because it had more frequencies and now I,m told the soverign was much better.iIwould like your thoughts on this and why. The rings were found over a two year period thanks.

I've been using my SovGT on the beach for about 5 months and have found zero gold or silver rings.

I have had good luck with my gt you will to when you least expect it good luck

I'm not sure why other then possibly the tones themselves.

But I had the Same experience with the Sovereign vs Explorer

for some reason BBS is better on gold rings

I don't remember my totals off hand but I believe it was somewhere in the 40's or 50's
over 2 or 3 years in a small swimming area on a drained lake.
& everything from tiny white 18k Gold 1/4k Diamond Keepsake ring,
to a Very Large Morticians College Ring & from 10 K up to 18 K

I can't say the same on silver. My Explorer is great on Silver, & junk rings
But not Solid Gold rings

Like i always said to me Minelabs … BBS ,detectors are a lot better than there … FBS , detectors.. Don't get rid of your Sovereign..

Yep my Hunting buddies used to refer to my Sovereign as a Vacuum.
a few Newbies that got into detecting because of seeing my Results
all bought Sovereigns.

a Sovereign with a W.O.T. coil and a
Sunray S-1 Probe is as near perfect as they come.

not only for Gold rings but for Relics also.

They can be almost too deep on Sand Beaches
and Volley Ball Courts though :laughing7:
