Space Shuttle Pics

I know it's not metal detector related but I thought everyone would enjoy these pics of the shuttle going off.

There sure are a lot of people on the beach for a Sunday evening @ 7:30

Quite an amazing sight!

I got a pic right as the rocket boosters were coming off. You can see the shuttle out in front and the boosters still on fire! Awesome!

Great pics! I was there when the Challenger went up that July, I was fortunate to get some good shots, they were still in my camera when the Challenger exploded 6 mos later.

Cool pictures. That's one of the things I miss from home. Even on the west coast you could see the space shuttle taking off very well, especially in the evening time. I remember one time when my son was learning to talk and we were on Int. 75 he said "look rocket." It shocked me; one because he was right, but two because I didn't know he knew what one was. I believe it was one of those Delta rockets.

I was in Melbourne Beach this week. We were so excited that it was going to launch on Wednesday....and very disappointed that it didn't. We left Florida Saturday morning.
