I inherited this coin from my great grandmother and I think she bought it in Mexico. I believe that it's made from silver, it's ca. 1.3 inches (3.4cm) wide and ca. 0.1 inch (2.5mm) thick. I couldn't find coins which look like this one online, neither fakes nor originals, and thought that I'd just ask someone here about it. It shows quite a lot of bubbles on the edges and the back so I'm not that sure about it's authenticity.

I think that one just might be the real deal! rough shape, but doesnt look like the cast copies most people ask about

at least from the pics it looks real to me, but has possible light fire damage in my opinion

Looks real to me, maybe a little polished or cleaned, but real. The cross looks struck not cast, and I don't see a seam. I hope I am right, if so, awesome coin!

I polished it a couple of years ago. I know that you shouldn't destroy a coins patina but I don't really plan on selling it and didn't like the pitch black backside of the coin
