I wonder what this will look like in 50 years.

It already looks pretty interesting. I imagine it'll be one those deals that folks wonder about.

You should bury something by it!

I truly don't know which end was the original root.

ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1477589054.378255.webp found this drill hole goes all the way through about an 1" across.

Nice orangeman! Take your pic from a little further away and it looks like it will have some directional markers as well. Might need shadow/light for those.

ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1477598827.889555.webp. Found this in some ones yard along the rim of a big really long bluff line.

Mikel & weekender y'all have probably been by crow mountain above Atkins.

Go down I-40 south the big bluff on the left with the razorback hog on it.

I know the spot...

I bet that spot has some kinda history that can be found.

ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1478190271.465693.webp found this in lie with a bunch of bent trees.

Did you pull that slice if the pie, to see if there was anything hidden in the crack, or is it still solid?

Spanish & KGC in the ozark mountains.

Azimuths? Pointer( arrow)?

I would call it man made.
May be plastered, shaped over existing stone, then fire hardened. There are a few spots that look like the plaster has chipped away.

That can only be confirmed by hands on the stone...
Feel it but don't move it from its spot unless you have a record of its exact orientation .... Photo with a compass on one or both lines.

HAPPY HUNTING!
