Metal Detecting
from a different spot on the river from where all the other cobs have come from( but still nearby:hello2:). A decent looking Phillip V half real from Mexico City. I also dug a nickel signal that turned out to be a badly eaten up trime at only .2 grams. :BangHead: Its amazing how the water can destroy some silver but others not so much. Spent indian and an ox knob rounded out the better finds

Yeah. Guess I was lucky to even get an id on it but its a testament to how well the Equinox hits small low conducters even in brackish/salt water

Yes you do. Thats a pic of all my early colonial silver including the french 4 sol and the cut pine tree. Most of it all from one site
 

Very nice variety of finds...even the ox knob is pretty cool when you think about it having been on the very tip of an ox horn! :icon_thumright:
