I was gonna say the hOle in it helps identify it a bit. I don't think I've ever seen a holed coin that small that wasnt a half Reale. Great find!

I agree. Looks like a holed 1/2 Reale. Would not be much use in putting a hole in a junk piece of metal to wear around your neck.
