I found these long ago and was wondering what you all thought of them. Found in southern Colorado, where Paleo sites exist. I don't see large spearheads ever when I'm hunting. It seems heavily used. The other knife is a very hard stone and I can't believe they even worked it. IMG_20200111_093240672.jpg It must have been a processing site. Thanks for any extra insite into these pieces. Anyway to tell if they are Paleo? IMG_20200111_093257832.jpg IMG_20200111_093309384.jpg IMG_20200111_094609336.jpg IMG_20200111_094616449.jpg

I'd say that tip goes on a big knife. On the larger piece, it looks like a backed knife if that's knapping evidence and not creek chatter along the edge.

Both look like flake knives and are made of basalt. Not sure how you could tell if they are paleo, everyone used flake knives

Thanks for the responding! Makes sense, did the paleo era have any distinguishing flake styles? I know the folsum style but other than that? I know they made the larger thinner points. Thanks again.
