Back in the bush fighting the flies and only came up with this thing...it's marked 1875. Guess it's some kind of suspender like thing. The typical square nails and a big old spoon.

DUANE I THOUGHT YOU HAD A FLINT STRYKER WHERE THE LINK IS BROKEN IN HALF. NOTHING WRONG WITH THOSE PESKY NAILS . THE ONE ITEM MAYBE A WATCH FOB .
 

Cool, the 1870's were an exciting time in American history, got the cowboys out west, the Union Troops still down South helping with reconstruction, pretty sure there was a recession going on too however. I know the Civil Rights Act of 1875 was passed, (if only it had been enforced) it was abolished not to long after and would be another century before another one would pass (sad). It's actually starting to sound like the 1870's were not so exciting, sounds like a crappy time to live though lol :laughing7:
